A splendid way to celebrate a special occasion, birthday, or just enjoy an Edwardian evening with family or friends in true British fashion right in the comfort of your own home.. This sumptuous offering, of Edwardian period recipes, will be served by a House Steward/Butler, Footman and Serving Maid(s); and Jason Daniel Roberts will be either the Butler, or a Dinner Guest. All of the accoutrements are provided, table linen, cutlery and decorations; even tables and period oil paintings if needed. All Set ups are prepared by The Edwardian Catering Company and will make you feel as you are truly dinning with the Crawley family. With appropriate music, and period costumed servers, this may just become a weekly, monthly or yearly tradition for your entertaining season. The culinary repast, from the first course to the serving of coffee and port, will delight you and your guests. And persons (guests) who attend in period costumes will enhance your Edwardian Dining experience.
* The Edwardian Dinner and Tea Catering Company can accommodate 2 to 12 persons for this event, and uses your dining area or chosen room for the event.
* Period Invitations are available and sent to your Guests by the Edwardian Dinner & Tea Catering Company.
* Jason as the Butler or Dinner Guest will assist with any questions concerning etiquette, and induce conversion pertinent to the Edwardian era.
* Guests can create there Titles, for example, Lord & Lady Ellington, to which they will be announced upon their arrival, and the names will be printed on the menus and may be taken as a keepsake.
The Evenings Itinerary -
* Guests arrive and are announced.
* Cocktail period for Guests to mingle.
* Dinner is Served.
* Coffee, Tea, and Port to finish while viewing an episode of an Edwardian Programme, for instance, Downton Abbey, Upstairs Downstairs… Or a game of the period such as Bridge, Charades, or Word Game. This will all be discussed and decided on in a pre event meeting.

Afternoon Tea ~ Enjoy this sumptuous four course afternoon tea with family, friends, or social group. Again this would be the perfect event for a special occasion. This proper Afternoon Tea is complete with assorted Finger Sandwiches and Savories. A glorious arrangement of Petit Fours, scrumptious Scones with Jam and proper Clotted Cream. Jason Daniel Roberts has studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, and has trained in the art of manners and elocution. He has also been involved in the theatre for the last twenty years portraying such characters as Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights, and Algernon Moncriff in the Importance of Being Earnest, as well as a Front Desk Supervisor at the Wentworth Hotel in New Castle, New Hampshire, and more recently the Dining Room Supervisor at the Stage Neck Inn located in York Harbor Maine. The Edwardian Era is one of his favorites, as well as the food of that period. The Edwardian Dinner & Tea Company has been created to allow, either as a romantic evening for two, or as a group occasion, the experience of an authentic English Edwardian, Victorian, or Georgian Dinner or Tea. The event, which takes place at your residence, is taken care of from invitations to clean up. With music, and period games that commonly followed an Edwardian meal or English tea, it will make for a most regal and exciting affair.
